Recent changes
Below you will find an overview of the most recent changes to the Environmental Barometer.
July 2025
- In the footprints the first two columns have been swapped; the first column now presents the ‘Theme’ or ‘Scope 3 Category’. The second column contains the item titles.
- When entering monthly values, you can paste a list of numbers. The list of numbers can be copied from a spreadsheet, table or text file.
- Direct links to HELP pages have been added to the sidebar menu in three places: Graphs | CO₂ Footprints | Monthly Values. This allows for quick access to explanations of the various footprints, for example.
- The CSRD table has been expanded with the ‘location-based’ version of “Total CO₂ emissions per revenue/turnover.”
- Added waste stream: Paper – tissues
- Added as fuel: FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Ester), a form of biodiesel just like HVO (Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil). FAME is available in the themes: business travel, freight transport, and mobile equipment.
- The Industry average for offices has been updated. The data for this has been taken from the seventh Environmental Barometer Benchmark for Housing Associations (in Dutch).
- The two key figures that calculate the “required square meters of solar panels” have been updated and now assume solar panels of 440 Wp (instead of 270 Wp). As a result, the “required square meters of solar panels” have decreased by approximately 35%; this applies to all years.
